Price for 3 day course:

$2,698.80-$2,878.80 for x1 day online module, plus x2 classroom days, OR complete 2 online modules, covering theory and practical. You can split your payments and pay for just Module 1 now and pay for Module 2 when you are ready for your classroom days.

The online module contains all the information you need to know to get started, including videos, illustrations and assessment. On successful completion of the online module, you can proceed to either take a further online module with video on ink mixing and case studies, or join one of our classes for colour theory and mixing, practice first on fake skin, and then live models. If you do not live in the UK and are not able to get to London, you can complete a 2nd online module and also we can arrange the live practical days over Zoom or Skype – please contact us on how this will work. A certificate is awarded on completion. You can then proceed to complete 5 case studies to achieve your Certificate of Excellence if you wish.

Optional pre-prepared kit is available as a package separately so you are ready to go with everything you need at $1,500.00 (optional – you will receive a list of everything you need otherwise). Please note if you already do SMP or permanent makeup, it is likely you can use the same machine and just order different needles – please enquire about this.

We operate small class sizes of maximum 4 students and you will receive 1:1 attention from our trainers to ensure you leave the training course feeling confident and ready to treat your clients.

Full payment is required to start the online module 1.

Booking on one of our training courses is subject to these terms and conditions. Please note a certificate will not be awarded until you have completed both modules 1 & 2.

Level 3 + in beauty therapy, ITEC, VTCT or HND

Semi-permanent makeup artist or tattooist

Nurse, dentist, doctor, pharmacist

If your qualification does not appear, please do enquire, but your qualification does need to be within the health and beauty sector. It is the students responsibility to check with their insurance company what their requirements are for insurance. Get in touch if you need guidance on this.

Kit, Manual & Certificate

One to one training:

One-to-one or in-clinic training is also available at your clinic or salon for an additional $300.00 plus travel & accommodation if required. Please send us an email if you would like someone to come to your premises to train you, or if you would like to come to us for one-to-one tuition. We are also available to train several therapists from the same clinic at a discounted price.

Our Trainers

Our trainers stem from the beginnings of this amazing new, improved technique for skin tattoo camouflage. This Brazilian stretch marks tattoo camouflage treatment was pioneered by Roldopho Torres in Brazil. He has shared his knowledge with several students, some of which will be training you. Zena Bratcher, the Director of Ink Illusions, has been fortune to have been able to bring this from Brazil and the USA to the UK for the first time. Have a read below on bios of our trainers.

Gabriel Renaud (3.10.1990 – 17.4.20)

We were so shocked and sad to hear of Gabriel’s passing on April 17th 2020. He was a talented artist and trainer and we thank him for the knowledge he shared with Ink Illusions. He was such a positive, kind man. RIP Gabriel, you will be sadly missed 🙁

Gabriel was one of the first artists, emerging from Brazil, to pioneer the new treatments for stretch marks & scar camouflage, as well as a new, revolutionary treatment for dark under eye bag treatment. He was trained by the guru Roldopho Torres, also from Brazil, and travelled all over the world teaching his skills.

Gabriel was instrumental in the creation of Ink Illusions.

Zena Bratcher

Zena is the owner of Ink Illusions and has been working with skin for over 8 years. She too has been trained by Rodolpho Torres, and Finishing Touches. Not only is she a trained traditional tattoo artist, she also developed her own colour matching receipes and focusses more indepth on colour theory within her training courses. Nobody understands inks and skin tone matching like Zena does! She was the first UK practitioner to offer the Brazilian Stretch Mark Tattooing technique for both training and treatments. Her extensive knowledge across traditional tattooing, skin healing variables, colour theory, inks, and different skin tone camouflage techniques makes her training course completely unique and like no other currently provided in the UK and beyond.
