MicroDerm-RFTM uses a combination of Fractional radiofrequency (RF) and microneedling to tighten the skin, smooth cellulite, reduce stretch marks, and reduce wrinkles / fine lines. It tackles acne scarring, sagging skin, large pores, and sun damage! No doubt you have heard of Morpheus8 – yes it is the same technology! This machine also works deep in to the skin, with the needles going up to 3mm allowing the RF to penetrate even deeper, to fat when needed. On areas like the face, only a depth of 1-2mm is used to avoid fat loss (if fat loss is not needed). It is a highly effective treatment that has been proven to improve skin texture, tone, and tightness. Because of its collagen-stimulating ability, this treatment is excellent for minimising the many signs of aging. RF Microneedling works gradually over a number of sessions. As a consequence one session is unlikely to give enough improvement. It is recommended to book 3-6 treatments depending on the severity of the condition being treated.

The radiofrequency and micro-needling penetrate the skin and fat with variable programmable energy and depth. This helps induce a healing response, stimulate elastin and collagen production and break down fat and connective tissue. The treatment is safe with no downtime. If treating the face, this may be red for a couple of hours but we also apply a cooling and hydrating face mask before you leave.
Before your treatment, numbing cream will be applied to make it more comfortable for you. This needs to be left on for at least 20 minutes before we begin.
Treatment times
Treatment times vary depending on the area being treated. Starting at around 60 minutes for the face to include numbing cream time, cleansing, needling / RF time, plus a cooling mask, followed by post-treatment cream application.
