Qualifi Regulated Courses – Level 4 and 5 Paramedical Tattooing for Scar Camouflage & Skin Restoration
The QUALIFI Level 4 Certificate and Level 5 Award in Paramedical Tattooing for Skin Restoration and Camouflage is a nationally recognised, Ofqual-regulated qualification designed for practitioners who want to specialise in medical tattooing, scar camouflage, skin restoration and MCA inkless needling. Developed in collaboration with Qualifi, this regulated training pathway provides structured education and assessment in advanced restorative techniques such as scar camouflage tattooing, stretch mark revision, hypopigmentation correction and MCA inkless tattooing (also known as inkless needling).
Unlike many existing courses in medical tattooing, this programme introduces the first combined Level 4 and Level 5 pathway that allows entry from appropriate Level 3 qualifications, meaning practitioners can specialise in paramedical tattooing without first completing cosmetic PMU training such as brows, eyeliner or lip blush. For professionals searching for regulated medical tattoo training, scar camouflage training, or MCA inkless needling certification, this qualification provides a structured, externally quality-assured route into one of the fastest-growing specialist areas of the aesthetics industry.

QUALIFI Level 4 and 5 Paramedical Tattooing:
AWARDING BODY:
The QUALIFI Level 4 Certificate and Level 5 Award in Paramedical Tattooing for Skin Restoration and Camouflage provide a comprehensive, regulated pathway for professionals seeking to specialise in advanced medical tattooing. These qualifications combine essential health, safety, and hygiene principles with in-depth training in client consultation, scar assessment, MCA inkless needling, and skin tone camouflage tattooing.
Learners develop both theoretical understanding and practical proficiency, enabling them to restore, blend, and improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks, vitiligo, and other skin conditions using clinical tattooing techniques. The curriculum emphasises safe practice, colour theory, pigment science, and ethical treatment planning, ensuring graduates are fully equipped to deliver high-quality, client-centred care within clinical or advanced aesthetic settings.
The Level 4 Certificate includes the entire Level 5 module, meaning graduates not only achieve a complete foundation but also the full advanced skill set required for professional paramedical tattooing. Together, these qualifications create a clear, recognised pathway for practitioners looking to excel in the rapidly growing field of skin restoration and medical tattooing as industry regulations continue to evolve.
QUALIFI is recognised and regulated by Ofqual (Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulator). Approved and awarded by QUALIFI (Ofqual-recognised Awarding Organisation No. RN5160). Ofqual regulates qualifications, examinations, and assessments in England
